Wine on the Fox
Don’t miss this premier wine tasting event in Oswego. Guests will enjoy wine tasting, delicious local fare, and musical entertainment featuring The Shawn Maxwell Quartet, Bopology, and “Daughter of the Blues,” Shirley King at Hudson Crossing Park on the Fox River. Hosted by the Village of Oswego, Oswego Visitors Bureau and the Oswegoland Park District, this event will surely become a new Oswego tradition. This event will take place on May 5, 2007 from

PrairieFest
Father’s Day weekend is PrairieFest in Oswegoland! Organized by the Oswegoland Park District and in its 19th year, this event is a celebration of history, family and community. The festival brings together community groups, governmental agencies, businesses and hundreds of volunteers. PrairieFest reflects Oswegoland’s community spirit with its ever-growing lineup of events and activities including:
- Continual main stage entertainment
- Children’s performers
- Petting zoos
- Hometown parade
- Raft races
- Quilt show
- Civil War encampment
- PrairieFest car show
- Fishing competitions
- Pony rides

Festival Of Brass
On Thursday night, June 28, 2007, the Susan M. Kiley Memorial Scholarship Fund will host the “Festival of Brass Drum Corps Show.” The show features drum and bugle corps from around the Chicagoland area. The show gives four scholarships annually to Oswego High School and Oswego East High School seniors.

Concerts and Movies in the Park
What could be better than enjoying a summer concert or movie in the park under a canopy of stars? Mingle with neighbors and friends, bring a picnic, let the kids swing to the music, get lost in a good movie and enjoy the peaceful splendor of Village Green Park! Break the mid-week routine and join the community for movies, music, and fun. Movies will take place beginning at dusk on June 6, June 20, July 18, August 1, and August 15, 2007. Concerts will take place beginning at 7 p.m. on June 13, July 11, and August 8, 2007.

Fine Art Fair
The 4th Annual Oswego Fine Art Fair has something for everyone to enjoy! Guests of all ages will be delighted by an assortment of attractions including children’s art activities, musical entertainment and fine art by artists from across the country in a variety of media including textiles, sculptures, canvas paintings, photography and jewelry. Admission to the event is free and all artwork is available for purchase. Held in historic downtown Oswego on Main Street, this year’s event will be held on August 25 and 26, 2007.

Chukkers for Charity
The 5th annual “Chukkers for Charity Polo Event” will be held on September 8, 2007, at the Arranmore Farm in Oswego. The 6th annual event will be held on September 6, 2008. The event is sponsored by the Oswego Rotary Club. World class polo players will compete in an exhibition match to benefit local charities. The day’s activities also include tailgate parties, dinner, dancing with a live band and a silent auction.

The 2nd Annual Oswego Drag Strip Days is hosted by the Village of Oswego’s Cultural Arts Committee, in conjunction with the Historic Oswego Downtown Business Association (HODBA). You and your family won’t want to miss this exhilarating event, celebrating one of the most exciting landmarks from Oswego’s past! Enjoy Oswego Drag Strip memorabilia, a Vintage and Classic Car Show, racing with Cub Scout Pack 363, mouth-watering food, and fantastic music. Held on Main Street in downtown Oswego, this year’s event will take place on September 15 & 16, 2007.

Christmas Walk
The sounds of Christmas, natural warmth and ambiance draw thousands to downtown Oswego, Mason Square and Douglas Square every year for the annual Christmas Walk, held the first Friday and Saturday in December. A tradition of the Oswego Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Oswego, Christmas Walk is a time for local shops and the community to kick off the season in true holiday spirit. From the lights on Main Street, to the parade, carolers, cookie walk, crafts, business fair, entertainment, and of course Santa, Christmas Walk is a true Oswego tradition.
